Travel, Transport, Accommodation and Venue Solutions (RM6342)
Lot description
This lot is our single lot solution for various travel, transportation, accommodation, and venue booking solutions. Lot 1 encompasses all of the services covered in lots 2, 3 and 4.
This lot has 3 parts and can be used for one, some or all of these:
- Part A: UK and overseas-booked core business travel, accommodation and venue find
- Part B: accommodation and venues for approved civilian programmes
- Part C: crisis, unplanned events and emergency response
Part A
Covers traditional business travel in the UK and overseas. This includes specialist booking solutions for the ministry of defence (MOD). Overseas points of travel are also included, which means you can book from overseas countries where applicable .
Services include:
- travel services including air, rail (including Eurostar) and ferry (including eurotunnel) services
- ground transportation including taxis, coaches, private vehicles and more (an extensive range including ad-hoc and scheduled services)
- transient accommodation
- group accommodation
- venue sourcing for meetings, conferences and events
- overseas points of sale are included in this lot
- group and executive travel services and implants (this is where an employee of a supplier will work at a customer’s premises)
- currency, visa and passport services
Part B
Covers accommodation bookings for asylum seekers, rough sleepers, victims of abuse, and other approved civilian programmes.
Additional services include:
- welfare support
- security provisions
- full service management
Part C
Covers crisis response travel. This includes chartered or wet-leased aircraft or vessels, and ground transport for either staff or civilians under an approved customer’s care or responsibility.
Examples of this include:
- medical evacuation services (MEDEVAC)
- evacuation of UK nationals from conflicts or natural disasters
